PhoneArena presents a brief comparison of the Motorola DROID 3 and Motorola DROID X2. In a battle for the good fight, Verizon’s lineup is stacked to the brim with some quality Android smartphones that encompass every bit of the spectrum — so whether it’s data speed or processing power that you’re concerned about most, they have you fully covered. Naturally, the HTC ThunderBolt has been riding the wave of success as being the carrier’s very first 4G LTE enabled smartphone, but with anything technology related, its top tiered status will naturally dissipate over time. With that knowledge, the Motorola DROID 3 is coming from … For more details, check out our full comparison:

Moto Germany no way
Awesome review..very detailed and informative and covers a good depth!
@OneShotShooter500 yes I know and he does say it is froyo , but I have the droid x2 and you can uptade it to gingerbread.
droid 3 is better
@OneShotShooter500 droid x2 does have gingerbread.
All motorola phones r ugly as hell
I wish sprint would get the droid 3. Im thinking of getting it unlocked. In the future will sprint get any motorola qwerty sliders
The droid x2 has a keyboard
@chippman100 it has skype, but facetime is only on the iphone though.
They’re the same, they are the same, the Droid3 has a hardware keyboard, the 3′s overlay looks better but its camera is crappy.
Great info! In depth and very helpful. Thanks!
Can you do one with THE DROID 3 vs THE DROID INCREDIBLE 2
Your X2 need an update. It has 2.3 Ginny!
does the droid 3 have skype or face time?
This review/comparison is SUPERB!
@lightningwar123 I really don’t either love to see the 4g though
fail
@ProtoDeez How!?
I’d prefer the Droid 3. Hopefully the UI on the Droid 3 goes too the Droid X2 when it’s upgraded to Gingerbread.
i just want a keyboard on my droid x2 and id be happy.
Good review. I like the x2 more but it’s a shame that it has froyo instead of the creative looking motorola gingerbread customization. I don’t need a slide out keyboard and prefer my phones not to have one because it makes them too bulky and heavier.
I prefer the Droid X2. And that’s what I got
gotta love the big screen.
@Trevorruby yeah they make those you know..they are called the Droid 3
Droid 3 is awesome I don’t know why people hate Motorola design
Good review
I want dah droid 3 !!! But it isn available ~sg -_-
why is the camera for the D3 so shitty? Can this be fixed with a software update?
though Motorola claims it’s the same camera, the original Droid X camera works flawlessly recording smooth videos without the choppy pixelated malfuctions.
when i saw these 2 in the store the d3 looked like a big phone and the x2 looked like a small tablet
Droid3 is the shit!
Will the DROID x2 get all the 3D animations when gingerbread comes out for it?
Motorola’s UI or Samsung’s touchwiz?
Looking for my first verizon smart phone. I currently have a LG versa. i like it alot.
Suggestions?
Motorola will become a threat to Apple slowly, with something like the Droid 3.
@ProtoDeez No it doesn’t. It has what was a newer version of Moto Blur that looks like Gingerbread. It was launched with Froyo and was supposed to be updated about 2 weeks later, but is still waiting for the update. I think he even said it was on Froyo somewhere in the video………
If only they bring these fine phones to my country…
Droid 3 vs Incredible2 vs Thunderbolt!
@OneShotShooter500 just update it …. or you can root it and flash with 2.3
5:43 i cant do that
@ALCAZ14 yeah but cant just go pay retail just for a keyboard and a front facing camera
@ProtoDeez Rincon, GA. You?
Awesome review, really helpfull!!!
@ProtoDeez Went to system updates and it says “your device is up to date” running 2.2.2.
JOHN V! Hell yeah!
how do you get to the music player?
The x2 does NOT have gingerbread yet! I’m one of the soak testers, we will be the first to know when it comes out.
nice video
Good phones, but I hate the os. Sense is sooooo much better.
@alterbyme No problem.
@OneShotShooter500 Sweden
but try to root it and flash it with gingerbread , not so hard
@OneShotShooter500 where do you live? it could be your location’s fault.
